1. Build real skills
Practise every day. Employers test what you can do, not what certificates you hold. Complete every assignment and build two or three small projects.
2. Create a simple resume

3. Prepare for interviews
Practise explaining your projects in simple words. Learn answers to common questions: tell me about yourself, why this field, what tools do you know. Mock interviews help a lot.
4. Apply widely and follow up
Apply on job portals, company websites and through people you know. Mumbai has openings in accounting, IT support, web development, marketing and design. Many students start in small companies and grow from there.
5. Keep learning
Technology changes. Keep adding skills, such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Python or digital marketing, as you grow.
