How to Spot Fake Jobs
Read this before you apply anywhere.
Rules for candidates
- Never pay money for an interview, registration, training kit, ID card, "security deposit" or to "confirm" a job. Genuine employers do not charge candidates.
- Be careful if the job promises very high pay for little work, or contacts you first on WhatsApp or Telegram.
- Check that the e-mail uses the company's own domain, not a free address, and that the company website exists and lists the same details.
- Do not share OTPs, bank details, Aadhaar or PAN numbers before a confirmed, written offer from a company you have checked.
- Prefer interviews at a real office or on a known video platform you can verify.
- If something feels wrong, use Report this job on the listing or tell our counsellors on WhatsApp.
What our labels mean
- Verified employer The institute checked the company itself (for example website, e-mail domain, registration details and a conversation with a representative) on the date shown. It is not a guarantee of a job, pay or working conditions.
- Jobs without a badge are collected from other job-search services and we have not checked the employer. Use the rules above.
- Every listing names its source. We do not receive your application or any money; you apply on the employer's own link or e-mail.
