If you type "computer class near me" into your phone in Borivali, Kandivali, Dahisar or Charkop, you will see many results. Most of them look similar, so how do you decide? This short guide gives you a checklist you can use for any institute, including ours.
1. Start with your goal, not the course name
Do you want an accounts job, a software job, a design career, or just basic computer skills for your current work? Write your goal first. A student who wants a job in accounts needs Tally and GST. Someone who wants to build websites needs HTML, CSS, JavaScript and a back-end language. The right institute will ask about your goal before recommending a course.
2. Choose a location you can reach easily
Classes only work if you can attend regularly. Look for a branch near your home, college or office. Our branches are in Borivali West (Moksh Plaza, S.V. Road), Kandivali West (Charkop Sector 3) and Dahisar East (Hari Shankar Joshi Road). If you live in Gorai, Malad, Mira Road, Borivali East, Kandivali East or Dahisar West, check which branch is easiest for you to reach by train, bus or road.
3. Ask for the syllabus in writing
A good computer institute can share a topic-wise syllabus. Compare it with the skills in real job advertisements. If the syllabus is vague, ask more questions.
4. Look for practical training
Computer skills are learned by doing. Ask how many hours you will spend on a computer, whether you will do assignments and mini projects, and whether the faculty will check your work.
5. Ask about batches and fees clearly
Ask for batch timings, total fees, what is included and what is not, and the refund or transfer policy if you cannot continue. Get these details before you pay.
6. Visit and attend a demo class
Do not choose only from photos or reviews. Visit the branch, meet the faculty and attend a demo class. You will know within one session whether the teaching style suits you.
